1. Mendisable service yang jalan

Caranya : masuk ke Run [windows key + R]
ketikkan : msconfig, nanti akan muncuL dialog box.

Kemudian kamu bisa menghilangkan cheklist untuk mendisable service dibawah ini.

2. Bersihkan Prefetch Directory

Caranya :
Star / Run / Prefetch
Press Ctrl-A to mengeblok semua file yang ada
tekan Delete
atau
masuk ke Direktori Windows, pilih Prefetch, hapus semua file yang ada didalam folder tersebut.

3. Tidak menampilkan pesan Logoff, Startup, Shudown Status

Start > RUN > Regedit (di postingan keyboard shortcut)
masuk HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > MicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersion > Policiessystem
Ketikkan angka 1
Jika ini tidak ada, buat sendiri dengan key DWORD value, namanya = DisableStatusMessages
Ketik angka 1.

4. Tidak ada GUI Boot

Jika kamu tidak butuh melihat XP boot Logo
Start > RUN > msconfig > BOOT.INI > cheklist /NOGUIBOOT



5. Membersihkan Page File on Shutdown

Start button
Go to the Control Panel
Administrative Tools
Local Security Policy
Local Policies
Click on Security Options
Right hand menu - right click on "Shutdown: Clear Virtual Memory Pagefile"
Select "Enable"
Reboot
atau
Start Regedit
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Session Manager > Memory Management > ClearPageFileAtShutdown
Ketikkan angka 1

6. Mengecilkan waktu booting

Start > RUN > msconfig > BOOT.INI > isikan angka 3 pada Timeout

7. Increasing Graphics Performance

Right click on the My Computer icon
Select Properties
Click on the Advanced tab
Under Performance, click on the Settings button
To turn them all of, select Adjust for best performance
Preferensiku untuk menonaktifkan semua kecuali untuk Show shadows under mouse pointer dan Show window contents while dragging

8. Increasing Performansi Sistem

Start > RUN > Regedit
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Session Manager > Memory Management > DisablePagingExecutive
ubah menjadi angka 1
Reboot the computer

9. Memakai software pembersih komputer, seperti Ashampo, Tune Up,CCLeaner
